Requirements & recommendations
1. The service should strengthen how it checks and follows up on its own audits. This means making sure that information from different sources is brought together, that any issues identified are acted on, and that all quality checks are completed to a high standard. This will help ensure people continue to receive safe, consistent and well managed care. This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards (HSCS) which state that: 'I benefit from a culture of continuous improvement, with the organisation having robust and transparent quality assurance processes.' (HSCS 4.19).
