1. To support safe and consistent care, the provider should ensure all staff are up to date with mandatory training, including practical training in manual handling and medication administration. Oversight and planning should be strengthened so that all training, including refresher training, remains current and is recorded clearly. This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards (HSCS) which state that: 'I have confidence in people because they are trained, competent and skilled, are able to reflect on their practice, and follow their professional and organisational codes' (HSCS 3.14).
1. To support positive outcomes for people, t he provider should ensure personal plans and risk assessments are accurate, aligned, and reflect people's care needs and wishes. These should be reviewed at least every six months or sooner when needs change. Regular, evaluative audits should be carried out to confirm information is clear, current, and supports safe, consistent care. This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards (HSCS) which state that: 'My personal plan (sometimes referred to as a care plan) is right for me because it sets out how my needs will be met, as well as my wishes and choices' (HSCS 1.15).

The support service will be provided to people living in their own homes.
Support will be provided by one staff team based in Edinburgh.
Where the support is provided from more than one address the service must keep the Care Inspectorate informed of any changes to the addresses from which the service is provided.
