Recommendation 1

1. To support people's health and wellbeing, the provider should focus on staffing arrangements and recruitment. In particular, this is to ensure: a) The leadership team have the time they need to focus on their management and leadership role in order to improve outcomes for people using the service, and b) Staffing arrangements allow for cover of staff absences. This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards (HSCS) which state that: 'I experience stability in my care and support from people who know my needs, choices and wishes, even if there are changes in the service or organisation' (HSCS 4.15). This area for improvement was made on 7 November 2025.
