Recommendation 2

2. The service provider should ensure that processes for oversight and recording of people’s changing health needs are further developed. This is to ensure that staff have easy access to information relating to the effectiveness of treatment and support concerning people’s healthcare. This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards which state that: ;I experience high quality care and support because people have the necessary information and resources' (HSCS 4.27).

Recommendation 3

This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards which state that: ;I benefit from a culture of continuous improvement, with the organisation having robust and transparent quality assurance processes' (HSCS 4.19). This area for improvement was originally made on 9 February 2022; however, different aspects for improvement of audit processes have been identified at this inspection.

Recommendation 4

1. The service provider should ensure that the most up to date and relevant infection prevention and control guidance is used by the service. This is in order to ensure that people’s health and wellbeing is effectively maintained and that risks presented by outbreaks of infection are minimised. This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards which state that: 'I experience an environment that is well looked after with clean, tidy and well maintained premises, furnishings and equipment' (HSCS 5.22).
