1. To ensure that children's health and wellbeing is supported the management team should ensure child protection procedures are clearly understood and followed. This should include but is not limited to ensuring clearer guidance for staff, robust oversight by management, and consistent use of the notification system to ensure all concerns are recorded and acted upon. This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards (HSCS) which state that: "I have confidence in people because they are trained, competent and skilled, are able to reflect on their practice and follow their professional and organisational codes." (HSCS 3.14)
