1. To support the safety and wellbeing of children using the service, the provider should ensure that child protection policies and procedures are consistently followed. This includes building a clear and accurate understanding of events, by recording relevant information effectively, sharing this with appropriate agencies and supporting all staff, to maintain a strong understanding of their responsibilities. This is to ensure care and support is consistent with Health and Social Care Standard (HSCS) which state: "I use a service and organisation that are well led and managed." (HSCS 4.23).
