1. The service should ensure that care arrangements fully align with regulatory requirements and best practice guidance. This should include but not be limited to ensuring they adhere to the services conditions of registration at all times. Where they plan to have school aged childcare within the provision this should be applied for through submitting a variation to their conditions of registration. This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standard (HSCS) which states that: 'If I experience care and support in a group, the overall size and composition of that group is right for me' (HSCS 1.8) and 'I experience high quality care and support based on relevant evidence, guidance and best practice' (HSCS 4.11).

1. To provide a care service to a maximum of 30 children at any one time of between the ages of 18 months to not yet attending primary school whom no more than six are under two years old.
