1. To support children's wellbeing the providers should ensure the service management of medication policy and procedure follows best practice guidance. This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards (HSCS), which state that as a child, any treatment or intervention that I experience is safe and effective (HCSC 1.24).

2. To support a well manage service, the provider should ensure they inform the Care Inspectorate of significant events that happen within the setting. This information can be found in the Care Inspectorate Early learning and childcare services: Guidance on records you must keep and notifications you must make This is to ensure the quality of the service is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards, which state that as a child, I experience high quality care and support because people have the necessary information and resources (HCSC 4.27).

1. To support children’s wellbeing, learning and development the provider should ensure each child has a personal plan. These should include, but not be limited to; • identifying children's health and wellbeing needs • how the setting plans to support children's needs • be created in consultation with parents, staff and other professionals. This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards which state "my personal plan (sometimes referred to as a care plan) is right for me because it sets out how my needs will be met, as well as my wishes and choices" (HSCS 1.15) and "my care and support meets my needs and is right for me" (HSCS 1.19).
