Cathkin Primary School Nursery Class

Number(s) and Age(s) of person(s) to whom service may be provided:
1. To provide a care service to a maximum of:
10 children aged two years to under three years
40 children aged from 3 years to those not yet attending primary school.

Any other conditions unique to the service:
2. The service will comply with the following staffing ratios:
Age of children ratio - adults to children 3 and over - 1:8
Where children attend facilities providing daycare for a session less than a continuous period of four hours in any day, the adult:child ratio may be 1:10, providing children do not attend more than one session per day.
3. A minimum of two adults to be on duty at any one time. (Only adults in contact with the majority of the session should count towards the ratios).
