1. To support positive outcomes for children, the provider should strengthen oversight of the day-to-day running of the service. Leadership should ensure there is consistent monitoring of practice, a clear shared understanding of expectations and that all staff follow agreed procedures across the setting. This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards (HSCS) which state that: 'I use a service and organisation that are well led and managed' (HSCS 4.23).
Conditions of registration
To provide a care service to a maximum of 60 children of primary school age.
Adult: child ratios will be:
3 and over 1:8 if the children attend more than 4 hours per day or
1:10 if the children attend for less than 4 hours per day
If all children are over 8 years old and over 1:10
The registered managers are also registered managers for following services on a peripatetic basis: Bonnyrigg Out of School Care: CS2003011999 and
Burnbrae Out of School Care: CS2016347147.
The named managers must be supernumerary at all times.
