1. To ensure the safety and wellbeing of children the provider should ensure notifications are submitted and approved by the Care Inspectorate prior to changes to service delivery. This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with Health and Social Care Standards (HSCS) which state that: "I am protected from harm, neglect, abuse, bullying and exploitation by people who have a clear understanding of their responsibilities"(HSCS 3.20).
1. To support children's health, wellbeing, and safety, the provider should ensure they are cared for in a well-maintained, and safe environment. This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with Health and Social Care Standards (HSCS) which state that: "I experience an environment that is well looked after with clean, tidy and well maintained premises, furnishings and equipment" (HSCS 5.22).
