1. By 11 September 2026, the provider must ensure that personal plans are purposefully used to help promote children’s safety and wellbeing. To do this, the provider must, at a minimum: • document children’s individual needs and how these will be met by the service • review personal plans with families at a minimum of every six months. This is to comply with Regulation 4(1)(a) (Welfare of users) and 5(2)(b) (Personal plans) of The Social Care and Social Work Improvement Scotland (Requirements for Care Services) Regulations 2011 (SSI 2011/210). This is to ensure care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards (HSCS) which state that: 'My personal plan (sometimes referred to as my care plan) is right for me because it sets out how my needs will be met, as well as my wishes and choices' (HSCS 1.14).
2. By 28 August 2026, the provider must ensure that children’s medication is effectively managed to help ensure their health and wellbeing. To do this, the provider must, at a minimum: • develop permission to administration records to show the reasons why medication should be given, for example signs and symptoms to look out for • ensure that plans detail what actions to take in the event of an emergency including maximum doses and when to call emergency services • develop records of when medication has been given to show the reason it was given and the date it was administered • review children's health needs and medication requirements every three months with parents in line with guidance • ensure that all staff are familiar with children’s healthcare needs to support them to keep children safe. 1. To promote children's overall wellbeing, personal planning should be further developed to ensure that all children are supported to achieve their full potential. This should include, but is not limited to: developing strategies used to support all children reviewing personal plans with families in line with current legislation. This is to ensure care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards (HSCS) which state that:

To further develop the quality of the service and enhance outcomes for children, the provider should ensure that quality assurance processes, improvement planning and self-evaluation are further developed and embedded. This should include, but is not limited to processes that: consult with and share outcomes with children and their families include staff in self-evaluation processes to support them to develop as reflective practitioners identify strengths and areas for improvements, with the development of clear improvement plans, measurable outcomes and monitoring to support positive outcomes for children and families. For children to have suitable toilets facilities within easy reach to help them to develop good bladder and bowel health habits the provider should ensure that the correct number of toilets are easily accessible to the registered number of children in each setting. This should include but is not limited to children having easy access to a minimum of five toilets in the South Queensferry setting and three toilets in the Echline setting. Staff toilets should not be shared with children. This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards (HSCS) which state that: 'I can easily access a toilet from the rooms I use and can use this when I need to' (HSCS 5.2).

1. To provide a care service to a maximum of 50 children of primary school age to 16 years at any one time, from the following premises: South Queensferry Community Huts, South Queensferry Primary School, Burgess Road, South Queensferry, EH30 9JA.
2. To provide a care service to a maximum of 30 children of primary school age to 16 years at any one time, from the following premises: Echline Primary School, Boness Road, South Queensferry, EH30 9XJ.
