1. To create shared aspirations to provide the best possible experiences for children, the childminder should develop a shared vision, values, and aims with children and families. This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards (HSCS) which state that: 'I use a service and organisation that are well led and managed' (HSCS 4.23)
1. To ensure children experience care and support that meets their needs, the childminder should review personal plans with children and families whenever there are significant changes and at least every six months. This will ensure that information is accurate to keep children safe and promote their wellbeing This is to ensure care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards, which state that: ‘My personal plan (sometimes referred to as a care plan) is right for me because it sets out how my needs will be met, as well as my wishes and choices’ (HSCS 1.15).

1. To provide a care service to a maximum of 6 children at any one time under the age of 16, of whom no more than 3 are not yet attending primary school and of whom no more than 1 is under 12 months. The numbers are inclusive of children of the childminder's family.
