Recommendation 1

1. To remain responsive to changes the service should review current processes to develop a culture of continuous quality improvement to support outcomes for people experiencing care. This should include but is not limited to: a) Review current systems and processes used for auditing and quality assurance b) Review and update the development plan This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards which state "I benefit from a culture of continuous improvement, with the organisation having robust and transparent quality assurance processes. (HSCS 4.19)

Recommendation 2

2. To ensure that people can be confident that staff have had the opportunity to meet their manager for formal supervision to reflect on their practice, the service should ensure that; a) Supervisions are planned, completed and recorded for each staff member in line with local policy. b) A system is in place for ongoing monitoring of supervision for the staff team This is to ensure care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards, which state: "I have confidence in people because they are trained, competent and skilled, are able to reflect on their practice and follow their professional and organisational codes". (HSCS 3.14)

Recommendation 1

1. Communal bathrooms and some ensuite bathrooms need to be refurbished due to some water damage. In addition, some skiting boards and door frames need to be repainted. This is to ensure care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards that state: " I experience an environment that is well looked after with clean, tidy and well maintained premises, furnishings and equipment." (HSCS 5.22)
