Recommendation 1 Met

1. To support good health and wellbeing, the provider should follow the Care Home Infection Prevention and Control manual, to maintain high standards of infection control. Cleaning schedules should give staff clear, detailed guidance on routines and be accurately completed to show what cleaning has been done. This is to ensure that care and support is consistent with the Health and Social Care Standards (HSCS) which state that: 'My environment is secure and safe'. (HSCS 5.19); and 'I experience an environment that is well looked after with clean, tidy and well-maintained premises, furnishings and equipment'. (HSCS 5.24)
