Recommendation, verbatim from the inquiry
●Inquiry recommendation, Summary of Recommendations, no. 20
Social Work Departments should have recourse to independent professional advice in all appropriate cases in addition to the carrying out of any necessary medical examinations. A list of persons suitably skilled and experienced in providing such advice should be available to all Social Work Departments. It may also be appropriate to have recourse to advice from a child psychiatry team (15.44-46).

How this page is built

The summary is written by this site and labelled as such. The Index does not paraphrase sources or characterise intent; it records what has been published.
