Recommendation, verbatim from the inquiry

●Inquiry recommendation, Part 5, Chapter 55: Cell-sharing; recommendation follows paragraph 55.22

The sole exception to that rule – namely when the unconvicted prisoner consents to share a cell with a convicted prisoner – should be regarded as applying only when the unconvicted prisoner consents to share a cell with a particular convicted prisoner, not with convicted prisoners in general.

How this page is built

The summary is written by this site and labelled as such. The Index does not paraphrase sources or characterise intent; it records what has been published.
