During the inquest I heard evidence to suggest that view of the oncoming traffic to her left was obstructed by a road sign and trees, itself on bend, before commenced her right turn from the entrance of Soi Khuan Charoen_ Ialso heard that the of the road had no central reservation enough to full accommodate a vehicle The MATTER OF CONCERN is as follows To review the safety of the road conditions and road lay out at the location and to consider the appropriateness steps to make the location safer for traffic.

Investigation and inquest
On 22/12/15 I opened an inquest into the death of Rebecca Leanne Shaw who, at the date of her death was 32 years. The inquest was resumed and concluded on 27/1/17 I found that the cause of death to be: la_ Multiple skull fractures 1b Severe head injury [arrived at a conclusion of road traffic collision
Circumstances of the death
At approximately 11.15am 12/12/15, was the driver of a Honda motor scooter with the deceased Rebecca Leanne Shaw pillion. Whilst made a right hand turn at the entrance of Soi Khuan Charoen to cross a four lane dual carriageway known as Phra Barami Road, Patong Sub DistrictKagthuy District; Phucket Province; Thailand_ It was then that motor scooter was RT3589 aged riding Yang struck byan oncoming Toyota Vigo pick up truck driven by As a result Rebecca was thrown from the motor scooter and when taken to Pa hospital she was found to have died from the injuries she sustained_
Action should be taken
In my action should be taken to prevent future deaths and I believe that the Phuket Highway District for the Muang Districts has the power to take such action.
