Conclusion (the committee's words)
The Department must include a stronger focus for English Hubs on reading for pleasure, alongside reading proficiency. This should include work on how to support reading for pleasure among children with SEND, especially those with dyslexia and other reading difficulties. (Recommendation, Paragraph 121)
