PLANS ALREADY IN PLACE The Government has confirmed in the International Student Levy technical consultation document that the revenue from the levy will pay for other areas of the skills system in addition to higher education maintenance grants. The income raised by this levy will be fully reinvested into higher education and skills, including the reintroduction of targeted maintenance grants for priority courses, progression through the post-16 system, and for wider skills.
