Conclusion
There was a clear consensus in our evidence that the regeneration of the town of Barrow-in-Furness is essential to the delivery of AUKUS. The formation of Team Barrow and the investment committed to date to address 51 this is welcome, but it does not go far enough. The scale of the challenge was laid bare in the evidence before us and was made apparent during our visit to the town. (Conclusion, Paragraph 91)
