We strongly support the opening up of iPlayer to content from other PSBs. We understand Channel 4 are in discussions with the BBC about the opportunity, which would build upon the arrangement already in place between the BBC and S4C. We accept that it may not be straightforward. However, we believe the need for scale in a future media environment requires ambition, and a broader, diverse range of content from other public service media will benefit audiences and the industry in the long term.
