Recommendation
We recommend that, subject to the BBC being resourced sufficiently, the Charter gives the BBC an additional responsibility to counter misinformation and disinformation. This is clearly not solely the responsibility of the BBC 57 and it is not a problem that the BBC can solve by itself. However, through partnerships with other organisations, and with sufficient resources, the BBC could have significant impact. (Recommendation, Paragraph 124)
