Recommendation
In establishing the Single Enforcement Body, the Government must ensure that the Body’s remit includes the enforcement of disability- related workplace rights and that these are prioritised. The Government must also ensure that the Body has the powers necessary to support proactively those disabled people who are more vulnerable to having their rights breached or who are less able to engage effectively with other enforcement mechanisms.
