Recommendation (the committee's words)
As part of the rollout of Universal Support, the Government should take steps to link Universal Support offers to supported internships to ensure that young disabled people with the highest needs do not drop out of work at the end of their internship. We ask the Government to update the Committee on progress of the rollout by March 2025.

- On a four-week employer deadline for reasonable adjustments, the government "notes" the recommendation and says research with the University of York will inform next steps, with initial findings "expected in the Summer".
