Recommendation
In the process of establishing the proposed national jobs and careers service, the Government should introduce further training for Work Coaches and DEAs to ensure they are fully able to understand the specific barriers young disabled people face, including in the commissioning and use of assistive technologies. New training should be in place before March 2025 .
