Recommendation
We call on the Government to conduct an assessment of the balance the UK should strike between high-end and conventional weapons to enhance effectiveness and sustain operations. This assessment should also consider the mix of capabilities among NATO’s European members and take account of the potential for burden-sharing across the Alliance.
