Conclusion
We welcome the Government ’s previous commitment to improving its impact assessments and reiterate our call for detailed assessments of the impact of future trade agreements on the devolved nations and regions, including sensitive sectors such as agri-food. These assessments should be shared with the devolved administrations at the earliest opportunity to allow adequate time for mitigation of adverse impacts, and to capitalise on any potential gains.
