Recommendation
We recommend that the Government should clearly identify and set out the barriers and opportunities in digital trade and provide details in the trade strategy on which trade policy tools are best placed to address them. These might include domestic regulation, regulatory cooperation, Free Trade Agreements, multilateral agreements, or other types of agreements.
