Conclusion
The Government offers a range of tax reliefs and incentives to investors and companies to encourage investment, such as the Enterprise Investment Scheme and the Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme. The increase in incentives is welcome but insufficient. Improving the scope, scale and coverage of these reliefs would encourage more investment into UK firms, as would accelerating the process for claiming them. (Conclusion, Paragraph 216)
