Not Addressed
The CMA supports the mandatory provision of Online Dispute Resolution and Alternative Dispute Resolution in essential markets. The CMA is also working with international partners and multinational fora to explore possibilities for improved cross-border arbitration, though there are several practical obstacles to this including cost, choice of law, and enforcing outcomes. Consumer complaints in the first instance should be sent to Citizens Advice (or the relevant Devolved National body).
