Recommendation (the committee's words)
While this remains nascent the Government should monitor progress in this area closely, and ensure horizon scanning informs battery recycling strategies. Government must also provide clarity to the recycling industry about future standards at the earliest stage possible to ensure it is able to adapt to changes.
