Recommendation
Progress in this area must be accelerated urgently. In response to this report, the Government should confirm its revised deadline for meeting its motorway service EV STRATEGY: RAPID RECHARGE nEEDED 105 area chargepoint target. The Government should also periodically review this target and publish its findings to ensure it keeps pace with the number and category of electric vehicles on the roads.
