Conclusion
Extensive primary legislation aimed solely at LLMs is not currently appropriate: the technology is too new, the uncertainties too high and the risk of inadvertently stifling innovation too great. Broader legislation on AI governance may emerge in future, though this was outside the scope of our inquiry.
