Conclusion
We have the right ingredients to build world-leading tech companies, including in the high-growth potential areas of AI and creative technology. However, fundamental barriers to scaling in the UK’s technology sector, such as poor infrastructure, a culture of risk aversion, and comparatively limited domestic growth capital, are well documented and longstanding.
