Conclusion
We welcome the Competition and Markets Authority’s decision to review its approach to mergers and acquisitions and to engage with a wider range of stakeholders. Effective implementation of the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 regime will play a vital role in ensuring innovative technology scaleups can compete with, and provide challenge to, incumbents.
