Recommendation 28
28
Paragraph: 123
We are seriously concerned by the apparent downgrading of risk management in central Government.
Conclusion
We are seriously concerned by the apparent downgrading of risk management in central Government. There is still not an NSC sub-committee dedicated to the management of risks. Central oversight and governance of risk management across departments remains under review. It is also unclear how the Government is prioritising its efforts and funding now that it no longer uses tiers to categorise risks in the National Security Risk Assessment.
