Conclusion
The regulatory landscape of CNI is extremely fragmented, with a variety of different approaches to climate adaptation and resilience. There are worryingly low levels of activity in some sectors, and some clear regulatory gaps, such as the fact that there is no oversight of the continuity of nuclear energy supply. We acknowledge that different sectors have different adaptation needs; nevertheless, this scattergun application of regulatory responsibilities is no longer tenable.
