Recommendation
To ensure ongoing transparency and accountability, the Government’s Annual Progress Report on the National Cyber Strategy should remain distinct from any Annual Report on the Integrated Security Fund, and should specify how the Government is using ISF funding to deliver NCS objectives. Through its Annual Report and statements to Parliament on the ISF, the Government should continue to make clear the regional, programmatic and thematic allocations for the Fund, as it has done for the CSSF. Finally, as recommended in our recent report on the CSSF, the Government should similarly maintain the CSSF’s current levels of transparency in the publication of information on programme activity, spend and performance.
