Following an evidence session on 23 November 2020 to examine the UK Government’s final preparations for the end of the Brexit transition period on January 31 , the Committee will question HMRC, Department for Transport, the Cabinet Office and Border Force on the new arrangements at the UK border, including border trade and customs arrangements, since the end of the transition period following the UK leaving the European Union The Committee sent a series of follow up questions to Cabinet Office Permanent Secretary after the November 2020 evidence session and expects to receive a response before this update session.
