Recommendation 21

We are currently awaiting the Government’s response to both our previous reports on the detention of young people who are autistic and/or have a learning disability. Those reports exposed that young people in these settings were subjected to significant and frequent violations of their human rights. Our recommendations in these reports must be implemented in full as matter of urgency to bring these human rights violations to an end.
