Conclusion (the committee's words)
We welcome the proposed introduction of the Lifelong Loan Entitlement. However, there are concerns that the OfS’ approach to regulation may stifle innovation and the prospects for a greater diversity of provision. It is also unclear whether the OfS is prepared for this substantial new role.
