Inquiry scope
This oral evidence session is looking at the implications of the Government’s resumption on 9 May 2022 of the managed migration to Universal Credit (UC) from legacy benefits (with a focus on taking account of complex needs). The session will consider: lessons from the roll out of UC in general, lessons from the first wave of managed migration (the Harrogate pilot), implications of current and forecast cost of living challenges for UC recipients, and advice to the Government on recommended amendments to the regulations governing the further mandatory migration.Oral evidence sessions
