Inquiry scopeThe Committee looks at antisemitic hate crime in communities, victim experiences and public service responses. MPs are keen to explore the issue from the moment an incident occurs through to, potentially, conviction. Key areas likely to be covered include: Decisions by victims about whether to report an incident to police or third-parties Support for victims by public services and third-parties Police decision-making on recording, pursuing and charging for antisemitic offences CPS decision-making on recording, pursuing and charging for antisemitic offences Support for victims and witnesses throughout police investigations and court processes.
