Inquiry scopeThere is significant under-representation of women in executive levels. For example, less than 10% of FTSE 100 companies have a female CEO. The Women and Equalities Committee will build on its recent work on this issue with a one-off evidence session looking at: The situation for women in senior roles The barriers to women achieving senior positions The measures being taken by organisations to improve the situation Actions the Government should take in this area The Committee invites written submissions, please see the terms of reference and guidance for witnesses for more detail.
