Recommendation
We call on the UK Government to work with the Welsh Government and businesses in Wales to explore how best to promote Welsh produce globally. We also recommend engagement with the Welsh Government in discussions about the impact of trade negotiations on the Welsh economy. The UK Government must recognise the importance of agricultural exports in trade deals with non-EU countries such as the US, New Zealand and Australia.
