Whilst international trade is a reserved matter, we recognise that modern trade policy can interact with areas of devolved competence. In recognition of the importance of this relationship, we have committed to a substantial program of Ministerial and official engagement with the devolved administrations. We welcome the Committee’s acknowledgement of the positive working relationship established with the Welsh Government.
