Inquiry scope
This is a one-off session to examine the work of the Police and Crime Commissioners of Wales’ four police forces. As elected representatives, Police and Crime Commissioners are responsible for police governance, police oversight, and the commissioning of criminal justice services for their force area. This session seeks to explore how effectively Welsh PCCs are executing their duties and cooperating with UK and Welsh Government, how their respective forces are tackling key crime issues in Wales, and how adequate the existing funding arrangements are for police forces in Wales.Oral evidence sessions
