Inquiry scopeThe Committee will hold a one-off evidence session to hear the latest on a new nuclear power station at Wylfa Newydd, following the failure of the Horizon scheme. MPs will examine the support needed by the sector to develop new power stations and the likelihood of a new developer delivering a nuclear power station at Wylfa Newydd. The Committee will consider the current nuclear situation in Wales and the UK and the role of nuclear in the future energy mix.
