Inquiry scopeThe Severn Crossings Toll: follow-up The Welsh Affairs Committee has announced it will take oral evidence from Stephen Hammond MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Department for Transport on Tuesday 18 June at 9.30am at the House of Commons to follow-up the Committee’s previous work on the Severn Crossings Toll. The Committee will ask Mr Hammond to provide an update on the Government’s plans for the Crossings and the level of the tolls when the bridges revert to public ownership. The Committee will also explore uncertainties surrounding the future ownership of the Crossings. Call for Evidence: Interested parties are invited to submit a short written submission to the Committee highlighting key issues that the Committee should raise with the Minister. Submissions should be no longer than 1,500 words and be submitted in Word format. The deadline is Tuesday 4 June . Please e-mail your submission to welshcom@parliament.uk .
